Who we are
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Natural Horsemanship with a minor in Instruction from the University of Montana Western in Dillon, Montana, where I developed a foundation in both horsemanship and teaching. During my education, I was heavily involved in colt sales and preparation classes, gaining extensive hands-on experience starting young horses and developing them correctly from the ground up.
I am currently the Head Assistant Trainer for NRCHA professional Casey Hidalgo in Texas, where I play an active role in the daily training, development, and management of performance horses.
In addition to my western and performance horse background, I spent eight years showing in the hunter/jumper ring, which strengthened my understanding of balance, precision, and correct flatwork. This diverse experience allows me to bring a well-rounded perspective to training horses, emphasizing correctness, softness, and athletic development across disciplines.
My background includes working with performance horses both at home and in the show pen, with a strong emphasis on clear communication, correct fundamentals, and thoughtful progression. My approach is centered on patience, consistency, and practical horsemanship, helping horses and riders build trust, understanding, and long-term success.
